JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Project Administrator / Project Management Assistant, you will ensure that the project manager and project team can focus on their core responsibilities by handling administrative and coordination tasks, maintaining documentation, and facilitating effective communication. This role is crucial for the successful execution of projects within the company.

1. Pricing, Budgeting, Coordination and Administrative Tasks

  • Call vendors for pricing.

  • Break down construction plans.

  • Keep cost records.

  • Communicate with clients, suppliers, contractors and crew to coordinate deliveries, monitor performance, and ensure that contractual agreements are met.

  • Follow up with subcontractors.

  • Follow up with permits, engineering, and city departments. 

  • Provide project management assistance and project accounting throughout the life-cycle of a project from proposal and project setup through project closeout.

  • Provide administrative support, such as travel arrangements, expense reports, and other tasks as needed by the project team.

  • Compile and prepare project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics for project managers and stakeholders.

  • Track and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure they are allocated efficiently and on time.

  • Oversee construction contract administration and submittal log processes to ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout the construction experience

  • Organize and maintain project-related documents and information.

  • Assist construction managers in publishing and maintaining project and job schedules, and communicating project updates

2. Technical Expertise

  • Technical experience in reading blueprints.

  • Experience doing architectural or engineering drawings.

  • Proficient in software and tools such as Microsoft Office, Construction software, and Web.

3. Engineering Background (MUST)

  • Have an architectural or engineering background.

SCHEDULE AND PAY RATE

      Schedule: Monday – Friday (Schedule to be defined)

      Time Zone: Central Time

      Hours: 40 hours/week

      Languages Required: English and Spanish

      Open to LATAM

      Pay Rate: $6-$7/hour
