ProtopVA Community is excited to announce a new job opportunity for the Paralegal position for a U.S.-based Family Law Firm.

SCHEDULE AND PAY RATE

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 1 PM CST (Part-Time)

• Time Zone: Central Daylight Timezone

• Languages Required: English

•Open to: Latin America

• Pay Rate: $6-$7/hr

*Rates are dependent on your experience and skills, determined by ProtopVA.*

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Draft and review family law documents.

2. Use ChatGPT to generate or enhance legal content.

3. Conduct legal research

4. Organize and manage case files

5. Provide general legal administrative support

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be based in Latin America

- At least 2 years of paralegal experience or a law school graduate

- Strong knowledge of family law (divorce, custody, child support, etc.)

- Experience drafting legal documents

- Familiarity with using ChatGPT or AI tools for drafting

- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

- Licensed attorney (active or inactive)

- Experience working with U.S.-based law firms

- Familiarity with U.S. legal software or case management systems (e.g. Clio, MyCase)

- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALITIES

- Ability to multitask and work independently

- Fluent in English(written and spoken)
