REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in a technical capacity

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to learn new technologies and products quickly

  • Motivated and goal-oriented

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills

  • Passionate about IT

  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or similar sales software


Desired Skills

  • Technical knowledge of IT products and services, such as specs for computers, basics of networking, Microsoft Licensing, and other SAAS providers

  • Experience in responding to RFPs/RFQs and other bidding processes


SCHEDULE AND PAY RATE

•      Schedule: Monday - Friday (10 am - 4 pm)

•      Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time

•      Hours: 30 hours/week

•      Open to: the Caribbean and Latin America

•      Pay Rate: $6-$7/hr

*Rates are dependent on your experience and skills, determined by ProtopVA.*


JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Generate and qualify leads

  2. Communicate effectively with potential and existing customers, demonstrating technical knowledge of IT products and services.

  3. Explain complex IT products and services in simple terms

  4. Initiate proactive calls to potential clients, both cold and warm, to generate sales for the company.

  5. Manage the sales pipeline.

  6. Prepare and submit proposals, quotes, and contracts.

  7. Collaborate with the sales director and other team members to achieve sales targets and objectives. 

  8. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve sales strategies and processes. Customer-oriented and results-driven attitude solutions and services for various industries.
