ProtopVA Community is excited to present this new job opportunity for Full-Time PHP WordPress Developer For a Marketing Business (LATAM).

COMPANY INFORMATION

US-based marketing agency dedicated to providing services in WordPress web design and development, pay-per-click advertising, and search engine optimization for small businesses and other marketing agencies.

SCHEDULE AND PAY RATE

•      Schedule:  Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

•      Time Zone: CST

•      Hours: 45 hours/week

•      Open to:  Latin America

•    Languages: English-Spanish

Pay Rate: $10-$17/hr

*Rates are dependent on your experience and skills, determined by ProtopVA.*

• REQUIREMENTS

• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work

• Strong PHP coding knowledge

• 2+ years of experience

• Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git and SVN

• Experience with APIs and the WordPress REST API

• Proficient in modern PHP development, WordPress coding standards, and

• PSR recommendations

• Passion for coding and a knack for solving complex problems

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Develop and maintain WordPress websites

2. Fix PHP errors

3. Ability to solve complex problems related to website customization, safety, connecting to databases, sanitizing inputs and outputs from users, APIs, and net offerings of any undesirable bits, and other problems as they arise.

3. Build custom plugins (medium to high complexity)

4. Develop new features and update custom WordPress plugins
